World’s first wearable smartphone

ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia teased the world’s first wearable smartphone at IFA 2018, in Berlin. Called nubia-α (Alpha), one can wear the device on their wrist. It features a large curved OLED touch screen display which uses Flex, Nubia’s propriety flexible display technology. The device also has a camera on the front accompanied by a microphone and buttons on both the sides. The back of the device consists of charging pins and a heart rate sensor. The wearable smartphone also has a metal strap and comes in Black and Golden colour options. Presently, the company has not shared any details about its specifications, price or availability.Along with the wearable smartphone, the Chinese manufacturer also launched its latest smartphone — Nubia Red Magic at the event. The company has revealed that they are also planning to launch the smartphone soon in India. The Nubia Red Magic comes with a price tag of EUR 450 which roughly translates into Rs 37,200.
