Reliance to join hands with Samsung to deploy IoT in India

27/02/2018: At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Raliance Jio has joined hands with the Korea’s industry giant Samsung, in order to establish a nationwide cellular Internet of Things in India. Samsung has already helped Jio to deploy LTE network across the country. The commercial internet of things network was deployed in Mumbai, earlier this month and should be deployed in other parts of the country soon.

IoT is expected to support a variety of consumer and enterprise use cases and both of the companies have already done a lot of work in this regard. The IoT service will use the existing spectrum owned by Jio.
